The Rangers have organized specific Training Sessions targeted to mastering one firearm per week. These are held in Bay #2 on Friday night alongside our regular Friday Night Practice Sessions.

One week you may practice with pistols, another long guns (rifles). The goal is to help you get more comfortable with all the guns we use in competition so that you can join us in  action bay #1  and run through various scenarios “under the clock” in simulated competition conditions.


The following topics are covered (usually one topic per week):

  • Revolvers
  • Rifles
  • Shotguns
  • Safely drawing your guns from a holster
  • Reloading under the clock
  • Shooting specific targets in a specific order
  • Safely moving with firearms
